We had originally planned to use a pad on top of a dresser. Then wound up just using a cheapo diaper caddy and a waterproof pad anywhere a change needed to be made in the house. I could use the floor, the couch, the changing tray on the pack n play. So easy!

You can also use them for naked butt airing time when rashes occur, and put them on your lap for nursing when you’re in one of those periods where the diapers leak all the time (or maybe that’s just me from doing something wrong).

I got a keekaroo but I put washable liners on it anyway because if pee escapes to the liner it’s much less likely to get on clothes. If I were doing it again I would just get a regular one and some quilted liners from blue snail on Amazon. They’re great and also handy for tummy time. The keekaroo looks nice but ultimately it was a waste of money.

Skip hop folding thingie for on the go. It’s perfect.

Keekaroo and knock off fisher price version

We had the one on the top of the dresser and the PB cover that matched the bedding in the nursery. Then we used one of the changing pad liners on top (like Munchkin brand) - this helped if there were messes and were easy to throw in the wash. The PB cover stayed pristine until we retired it post-changing table days.

For travel and being out, we liked the fold-up Skip Hop one.

+1 with two covers so we could throw one in the wash when needed.

I just used a changing pad on top of a dresser. I wanted a keekaroo too but it was just too expensive.

FWIW I'm about to have my 3rd baby and I only have had 2 changing pad covers. They look pristine. Not sure why some people get poop everywhere. In the beginning I had a blanket down just in case, but it wasn't necessary.

+1 have done this for two kids.

Us too and get some flitted sheets for it to change out. That poop gets everywhere.

We used one of the skip hop portable changers because I found that the easiest to clean.

We just changed the baby on the bed, on the floor, on the couch... we used one of one hundred swaddling blankets we got as a gift under the baby. Easy, versatile and took up no space.

I too was tempted by the keekeroo, but it's so pricey. Ended up just buying something like this:

And putting it on top of the dresser. Easy, cheap, wipes clean.

Don't be tempted by the covers - you'll just have to clean it a million times a week. I have a very nicely decorated and coordinated nursery, and this is one spot where a coordinating linen is NOT worth it.

What are you all planning to buy or have used for a Changer? I see a lot of reviews on the Keekaroo Peanut Changer, but it seems very overpriced.
