Some interesting patterns from an installer's website...

I like simplicity:

You can post Houzz pictures, but you have to know how to spot code.

Right click an image and a box pops up with a few clumps of code. Look in the "large image" box for img src, which is the HTML code that comes before an image. copy JUST the address of the image, which will usually end in jpg.

Then come here and use the BBcode to post the image.

Thanks for pulling up the pic for me. Would love opinions, my mom wasn’t that supportive. We have a McMansion type bathroom.

We have a tiny powder room - 3' x 5'. Looking for new ideas that are fun but not over the top. I'm fluctuating between bold floor tile patterns or a patterned wall paper. We'll probably have the lower half of the wall in white tile to make them easier to clean.

Unfortunately, Houzz sucks for that . The only way I've found to post their pictures is to screenshot them and upload to a photo hosting service like https://imgbb.com/. Sometimes if you find a Houzz pic on Google you can copy the image that way. If someone else knows a better way I'd love to hear it.

If you don't know how to post a picture:
1. Right click any picture on the internet and select "copy image location."
2. Hit "Post Reply" on the thread you want to comment on.
3. Hit the "Img" button above the comment box, paste in your image URL (make sure there are no extra spaces) and then hit the Img button again. You can hit the preview button to make sure you did it right.

It winds up looking like the text in the comment box below:

If it weren't for Covid we would be finishing a remodel of all three bathrooms in our house including getting rid of a huge Jacuzzi tub room and turning it in to an upstairs laundry room. The renovation was desperately needed from a mechanical/structural POV. So mid summer, because these renovations have not been able to be completed, we had a flood from the Jacuzzi tub drain and we currently have no ceiling in parts of the dining room and library.

I’m in the middle of planning not one but two remodels and I’d love for somebody to critique my plans. If only I could figure out posting photos on my phone!

I am SOOO up for this. I have multiple bathroom projects planned: new powder room and new full bath (for kids), plus two bathroom upgrades!! All on a budget but this is sort of my thinking...

Powder room (no window): Furniture style vanity -- sort of like a dresser -- with dramatic wall paper

Kid/teen bathroom: Traditional single vanity (painted green) with wide counter space and lots of drawers. Tile that seems easy to keep clean (i.e., less grout to bigger tiles)

MY OWN Bathroom (which is very small): beachy, breezy, change out current tub for a glass shower

Guest bathroom (in basement, so no windows): floating vanity, dark floors, glass shower, big tiles

I'm happy to contribute pictures if OP wants some help! I've been looking at and saving inspiration pictures for a long time now.
