Right. They are losers who believe lies.

This is the one time in their life they get to dress up and feel strong.
For them, this is like going to see a Broadway show — visiting the big city.

Let them have their day of costume play before we embark on our four year effort to root out Trumpism.

Violence always benefits the right. MLK and Gandhi had nonviolent direct action corrvet

Counter protesting is non-violent. Bombing their rally would be violent, and no one here is suggesting that. I think you have a serious misunderstanding of MLK and Gandhi.

Truth.

I remember a few years ago when these same types had a protest planned in DC. About a dozen of them came and thousands of us showed up. What's changed?

What should unhoused people downtown and within striking distance of downtown do?

I don't like the idea of leaving them unprotected from these thugs.

Is there a record of them attacking homeless people and people within striking distance? I thought the melees the last time were with counter-protestors?

they vandalized BLM banners from CHURCHES - I wouldn't put anything past them

Clearly attacking banners is a natural gateway to beating homeless people senseless.

They were definitely beating people last time, not just “attacking banners.” Why are you defending these aholes?

These are exactly the types of sociopaths who beat up homeless people. They are bullies looking for violence. Their gang initiation involves getting into fights.

Who do you think they are going to go after? Especially if there's no counter protests.

They also don't stick to just the plaza. I would not be surprised to see them up in areas like Dupont circle or other areas where there are unhoused people.

In the annals of vandalism, ripping down banners or posters is not quite on par with looting and vandalizing stores or setting them ablaze. I fear, however, that those coming downtown this week may have something worse in mind. It is probably good sense to avoid them and give them as little publicity as possible.

Find somewhere else to spend the day. Downtown DC is not a very big area.
