Suck it up and get a minivan. Yes, it’s perceived by the SUV crowd that minivans are dorky and what their moms drove, but they are a godsend when you have three little ones. I resisted my husbands entreaties and I finally succumbed and I’m so happy I did. So he was right once!

For is better than Acura at this rate. Acura took a nosedive in reliability. So has Honda.

Also, look at the Hyundai Palisade and GMC. Get one with second row bucket seats so you can access the third row.

1. Just get an odyssey, trust us.
Then, once you fall in love with Honda, move to pilot when it’s boosters and not infant seat/toddler car seats.

Just get a minivan. For the next 5 years it's your best option - you won't care about what people think of you with such easy loading and unloading. After that you can move to an SUV.

Another vote for Honda Pilot.

3+ kids = minivan.

Otherwise, get the explorer since you are ok with American cars.

Please, just test drive a minivan. With 3 kids under 5, I would not want to be dealing with trying to strap and unstrap kids from the third row, and the sliding doors are such a huge help. My kids are HS/college and I just now traded down to a smaller SUV, and I honestly still miss a lot about the minivan - if you like to haul a lot of gear around there is nothing better, especially if you have passengers third row of your SUV.

Go check out one of the tricked out Limited models in a hot color, then try one of the SUVs you like, and make an honest assessment.

Sorry just reread and you want bucket seats. To get those, you will need to get the upper trim levels.

Looking for a new vehicle has me like 😒😳🤔🥴

We have baby #3 on the way (other kids are 4 and 2 in January), so my husband wants to have a third row SUV (not excited about this as I don’t have a licenses to drive a semi 🤦🏼‍♀️). Must also have 2nd Row Bucket Seats with the third row being a bench seat. Trunk, well ... hopefully decent size? We like to travel and I take a lot of junk when we do.

He’d be willing to compromise and look at “wider” SUV options that do not have a third row for every other drivers sake 🤣

Here are the options we have so far:
-Chevy Traverse
-Ford Explorer
-Toyota Highlander [we both have only had Chevy and Fords, so I’m a little hesitant].

We are open to suggestions but will NOT do a mini-van!
