No , it was 15 minutes of repeating low rumble EXACTLY like on 4th of July ...and now we hear the church bells from the National Cathedral

I think with certain wind conditions and cloud conditions sound carries from Mt St Alban in Cleveland Park to the highest peak in Mt Pleasant more easily...I assume Pence decided to have a New Year’s Eve party and enjoy the VP mansion with the Family once more before he leaves town and that is what we are hearing over here EOTP

We are in Mt Pleasant and , at 300 feet often hear bugle from Observatory circle in early AM

At about 7:20 pm tonight ( 12/ 31 ) we started hearing fireworks

Are these New Year’s Eve Fireworks?

We thought it was cancelled but would maybe like to see it if we could . Any Info ?
