but regardless two contacts in 2 weeks is terrible if you live in a major metro area. Is your profile awful? Do you live in a tiny rural town (for example, my cousin is a teacher in a depressed rural part of SW VA and the numbers game just isn't in her favor)?

I think it may be your platform. I personally don't know anyone on OKC but rather Bumble or Hinge. A range of good photos do matter: no selfies, full body, close up, showing what you like to do, etc. Why don't you share what your profile says, and both men and women will be able to provide suggestions?

My mom is legally blind. So is a young lady that I worked with this year. People who have struggled their whole lives can often surprise you with other awesome qualities.

Get MUCH better pics. One of my friend was in your situation, and thought trying too hard was a bad idea. I created a fake profile on a random app, set as a man, and showed her the pics I got matched with. Girls dressed to the nines, full makeup, blown out hair. She immediately bought some colorful dresses and had a friend take posed photos. Has had many successful dates now.

I don’t know anyone on okc. From what I hear bumble, hinge, maybe tinder (but I think that might not be popular anymore?) are where people are finding dates. This is just what I hear from my friends who are in their early 30s and single.
