I think it’s not going to a war outside the country - it’s going to be internal. He’s planning on staging a coup. And clearly the military has his back.

We are coming up on the one-year anniversary of the drone strike against Solemanei. It seems that the Administration/Pentagon is expecting retaliation before Trump leaves office.

“Character” and “military” are mutually exclusive terms. Remember, these are the same people who bomb hospitals and strap bombs to dolphins. If you’re relying on them to do the right thing, you’re going to be very disappointed

If the plan is to lure them into an incident in the gulf, I doubt Iran would take the bait knowing Trump is gone in less than a month.
