Subject: When will the Paw Patrol obsession end?
Kindergarten.
You can try to steer towards some other stuff -- I greatly prefer the PBS kids shows, like Wild Kratts and Word World. The old Kratts brother show -- Zaboomafoo -- is awesome if you can find it anywhere. There's also an old PBS show (from about 2005) that was produced by Henson studios, I think, called Big Big World that is really incredible -- amazing puppetry and CGI with really sweet stories that are also educational and great songs, etc. If you can find that anywhere, it's really a treasure. My understanding is that it was incredibly expensive to produce because of the CGI and puppetry, so they only made a few seasons. But I think it and Zaboomafoo are two of the best preschool shows ever made.

Also curious. We never watched Paw Patrol (we don’t have cable) but a lot of DS classmates love Minecraft. Also, Roblox? I don’t know what that is either!

Definitely by 4.5. Used to love it, but refuses to watch it now. He’s into more “grown up” stuff now like Spiderman and Bluey 😀

I was just thinking about this, as my almost 6YO has rediscovered Paw Patrol within the past month or so. He abandoned it almost 2 years ago, but he just discovered the dino rescue angle and it reignited the passion.
I don’t mind, because his 2.5YO sibling enjoys it, too.
And there’s no one around to tease him for it.

When someone at school told him PP was for babies.
Paw Patrol was dead to him after that. Now he is into Pokémon.

Subject: When will the Paw Patrol obsession end?
This is OP. Mine is a girl but she’s always been interested in things that are stereotypically boy things, if that gives any insight to the trajectory we’re on! (Like trains and fire trucks before Paw Patrol.)
I’m asking out of pure curiosity. I was very happy with Paw Patrol until about 3 days ago and now I feel like I’ve hit my limit, but she’s not slowing down! And I wonder how much longer we have in this phase.
