Which means we paid 49 % of the original sticker price.

I think that is a pretty sweet deal.

LOL!!! The Caravan GT sells for about $21k brand new. It's a fleet model sold to car rental places with an inflated MSRP. This is why slightly used cars are always poor values. Because people like you overpay for them.

Yawn. You are lucky those workers will do those jobs that you will not.

I don’t have to work in a car factory because I’m smarter than that. I design high end interior spaces. Putting bolts on a car frankly is so far beneath me that it’s laughable.

In DC where it's all about the Odyssey and Sienna, you can get a good deal on the American cars.

The last year for the Chrysler Town and Country was 2016. The Town and Country was replaced with the Chrysler Pacifica. 2020 is the last year for Dodge Caravans. They are being replaced with the Chrysler Voyager.

Nonsense. Who needs UAW? No one drives American cars anyway. Except idiots.

Well, they do fill a need. Dodge-like cars are usually low quality cars that have a correspondingly low price and are sold to people who can't afford better and still need a large vehicle.
Now a lot of these buyers could get a much more reliable Japanese car if they were willing to downsize, but some can't due to their work, and some are just too stupid.

We bought a Dodge Caravan GT model with 35,000 miles on it.

The original sticker price for it brand new was $37,000. We paid $18,000.

Which means we paid 49 % of the original sticker price.

I think that is a pretty sweet deal.
