I didn’t wait until marriage but my husband is the only one. I can’t imagine making a life commitment with no experience.

DH was, he is 37, and he’s amazing in bed.

We waited, and have a healthier marriage and sex life than any of the people complaining on this board. But we were definitely attracted to one another. You just have to be flexible and not dramatic about sex because you're learning together.

I've found that the people who place value on being virgins until they're married really only care that women are virgins until they're married.

Double standards aren't my scene, so I've always had sex when I wanted to. I wouldn't be interested in a man who "saved himself" because it just speaks to a lack of interest in sex.

Sometimes I wonder when we see posts here from men complaining that their wife no longer has sex with them if they were the type of guy who valued a woman who had no experience.

My husband and I grew up very religious and waited until marriage so we were both virgins. This wasn’t the norm back then and I can’t imagine it’s now.

That sounds terribly irresponsible, leaving something so crucial as sexual compatibility up to “chance”. Would you buy a “forever” house without first going inside?
