I was able to conceive DC2 at 41 but consider myself very lucky. Now at 43 my cycles are getting shorter and shorter, which I’m told is perimenopause. My SIL said hers have become much longer. I’m jealous.
At 42, my cycles have become 21-24 days. It's annoying because my period lasts 5-6 days and then I seem to ovulate only a few days later. I feel as though I'm always "on alert" for either ovulation or period.
