UVA boosters ruin too many topics in the College and University Discussions by hijacking threads unrelated to UVA and by posting misinformation as to how great UVA is for almost any topics. A separate section will minimize or eliminate conflicts between UVA strivers and others calling them out.
Yes, W&M people, Vatech people, UMD people, GWU people, GT people etc. do not engage in the activities that UVA people engage in that many posters find distasteful.

AAP already has its own section and TJ is limited to the aap section already.
Should be pretty easy to add UVA to that - they all fit nicely under “VA Public Schools”.
