Good for you OP. But honestly, this seems like some sort of strange humble brag. You're proud that you're still so energetic and playful. So what's with the "what's wrong with me?" act? That's sort of annoying.

Sounds fun. It was fun to discover this side to my own 70 y/o mother when we had our first. She had always been a prim and proper, professional, somewhat stern woman. And all of a sudden she's crawling around after my baby as they cackle together.

It gets worse, soon you'll be wearing diapers, eating soft food, and having people bath you.

It's not childish it's interacting with your grandchildren on there level and doing what they like and want to do. Your a good grandma so keep it up. They will remember those memories.

Last night my 6 yr old granddaughter came over and we played hide and seek and literally chased each other around the house for an hr! Afterwards I laid on the floor with her in her bedroom and played with her toys. Her father and my DH just shook their heads as we ran past them while they were watching tv. Of course this was after I made dinner and cleaned the kitchen. I did the same thing in my 20s with my first husband’s son, my stepson.
