Pretty. I love the blue shade.

Paint is quicker, easier and cheaper. I have also spent countless hours scraping off old wallpaper and will NEVER wallpaper any walls in any house.

I love Thibault and wish I could decorate my entire home in its wallpaper

I think it's dumb when people shortchange themselves today because in 5-10 years their tastes may change. If someone is in love one with of the gorgeous wallpapers out there right now and they have the means to use it, why not use it? Why paint and kinds like the space? They'll probably want to change the color/decor in 5-10 years regardless. Do what you LOVE now.

what's considered old wallpaper? Our house is 20 years old and the original owners wallpapered the bathrooms. I want to get rid of it, but keep delaying because of the horror stories I've heard about removing wall paper. I know we could hire professionals (and may do that), but we have a whole list of projects that will need professionals so I'm trying to tackle what I can do myself.

I just ordered the Graham and Brown Botanical paper to do my powder room.

Graham & Brown is my favorite but I like all of the English wallpapers more than American. I have a lot of tangential experience with wallpaper and currently have my powder room, dining room and soon to be adding a grasscloth in my master bedroom. Other PPs are correct that wallpapers of today, specifically those that are applied professionally, are not the least bit troublesome to remove if you want to update your decor and the wallpaper no longer fits your aesthetic.

I find the patterns overwhelming. It's the repeat. But I like a stripe.

I love the look of wallpaper but am nervous for all the reasons mentioned. Plus, the ones I like are $$$.

I have peel-and-stick wallpaper in a closet.

It can also look great in a glass cabinet or bookshelf.

Just settled on some wallpaper for just one accent wall of a bedroom. Not all my ideal pattern is available in peel-and-stick, but I'll risk it in this case for an accent wall in a kid's bedroom.

The wallpapers today are so fabulous! But I’m talking about the high end designer wallpaper. I did my powder room and two guest bathrooms in my house. I had to control myself to stop there. But if applied professionally it strips off easily. Plus it’s so expensive to wallpaper vs painting but worth it imo.

Yeah, my wallpaper is 50+ years old. Even the ceilings have wallpaper. I agree that wallpaper is for someone who has the means to pay someone to install it and then change it in 5 years. There is some great wallpaper out there, but I'm sticking with paint.
