I'd also throw in speech, occupational, and physical therapists. They've been working throughout the pandemic, often in situations where their clients cannot wear masks.

All the calculators I see have teachers in phase 2 with people who are high risk, but not the highest risk.

I think that's a good call. The first round of vaccine needs to focus on making what we're already doing safe, not getting things open. So, health care workers, first responders, meat packers, nursing home residents and the most medically vulnerable. Those things will both protect the people who most need to be protected, and get our Rt far enough below 1 to see a steady decline. Then phase 2 can focus on allowing us to open things like schools, while keeping Rt low, and protecting more of the vulnerable such as those with moderate additional risks, and people in congregate living situations like colleges and jails.

Covid is not the flu. Covid is more deadly and more contagious. So a level of mask-wearing and social distancing that significantly reduces the flu, does is not as effective for stopping the spread of Covid. But you know this already.
