What other electric cars would people consider besides the Tesla 3 and that are in the 3's price range? That's the thing - there's still not that much in the way of options.

None of those are flashy. Sun might be higher end but they are not flashy. Plus, in this area they are a dime a dozen and they are super common that nobody bats an eye.

Around here they’re normal, I’d say. My FIL has a Model Y and adores it. He is the opposite of trendy and flashy, but loves technology.

My friends in Michigan, home of old fashioned American cars, say they’re flashy.

I don't like Elon Musk so I wouldn't get one for myself, but I definitely want to get an electric car for my next car.

I see a Tesla and I assume you are willing to pay a little more to advance the use of electric cars.

I can’t stand the black wheel trend.

It’s like any entry level luxury car. It’s fine and not too flashy, OP.

Hmm, we are getting the cybertruck. The car just seems like any other car. I agree with the trendy not flashy statement.

Trendy more than flashy, like an Apple Watch.

Not flashy. Going to get one soon and I'm poor.

Goodness, I always thought they were much too bland. Appeal to the lowest common denominator.

I’m not sure that’s true - a base accord starts around $24k and a base Tesla 3 starts around $36k - in five years time I don’t think it’s a wash in terms of cost. There’s less maintenance on the Tesla, but when that battery dies it will probably be expensive to replace.

I want to buy a Model Y, their newish little crossover. But for work purposes I don't want to and should avoid driving anything 'flashy'. I'm unsure what the general public thinks of Teslas moving into 2021. If it matters, I'd probably get it in white.
