Yes, but there are the "mutton sleeves" of names and the "cashmere sweaters" of names. Also, some trends never catch on because they are bad.

Adolph isn’t coming back. But Linda, Susan, and Donna will be the “it” baby names of 2050.

Sadly my long-time favorite boy name is in the top 10. My favorite girl names are not.

As a Jennifer, I steered away from top 100, but from the list Logan and Harper are my favorites. And Emily, which I did use as a middle name.

Amelia and Elijah are my favorites from the list.

I like William, hate Liam.

It’s a dog name.

I know three dogs named Luna, ages 16-10

I have 4 school aged children and we've lived in other states, I have never met a Luna and there hasn't been one in any of their classes, yet. Tons of Olivia's, Alexa's and Ava's.

You know, I always see it on this list and am surprised. I love it, too, but the only one I know of is Chrissy Teigan's daughter. I have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old and we've never come across it in any school, daycare, or activity. So don't write it off!

It jumped so fast up the charts. Only popular in the last year, but extremely so. I’m due in April and hope to see new SSA name list by the time I choose. To see where it is. Np

It usually comes out right around Mother’s Day

There are names that have been popular for 500 years. Can't ever go wrong with Catherine or William.

I don’t love most of them. Of those my favorites are Emma, Evelyn, James and Noah.

Here are the top 20 names: https://www.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/popularnames.cgi

I know some people are looking for a name no one else has, but I do think many of these are popular for a reason -- wonderful, strong names that a child can make their own.

My favorites from the girls' names: Camila, Luna, and Charlotte. I also think Elizabeth is an absolute classic. I went outside Top 20 for my first but am definitely eyeing a few of these for my second if it's a girl.

Favorite from the boys' names: James, Oliver, and Jack. I love the nickname Ollie and have really great associations with the other two, including my nephew/godson who is a super Jack.
