I'm pretty sure solstice celebration complete with ever greens being brought indoors predate christianity by a thousand years. Christianity appropriated solstice celebrations, and now secular commercialism is appropriating Christmas

Some people celebrate Christian Christmas, others celebrate pagan Christmas, and still other celebrate commercial / secular Christmas.

I celebrate all three.
