Now the post is reporting DCPS has not signed the agreement yet. They are reviewing it.

PP, that's great to hear! As a teacher, I 100% agree. I will be masked and socially distant and will be safe. Children are actually very compliant about this stuff, from what I have seen with my own kids. I am eager to teach in person because I know it is what the students need, and it is being done safely in many, many places. DC kids needs to be back too.

So, my school’s teacher sent a “survey” that was basically, “I want to remain virtual. Do you want a CaRES classroom or do you want to remain virtual.” We also had to put our child’s name on the survey. Awesome. I feel duped.

If you're currently teaching DL from Barbados, can they force you to come back when schools reopen?

I feel like we said that before November, and then it still blew up. I'll believe it when my kids walk through the doors.

No details yet but likely in favor of DCPS given the failure of Elissa Silverman's bill.
