Oh please - what metrics? That metrics dashboard changes on a whim and doesn't have anything to do with going back to school.

My favorite was the emergency room capacity. In NOVA, it would always exceed their metric even in non Covid times. The metrics are meaningless.

Isn't that pretty similar to Phase 2 numbers?

I'm not totally surprised. HS kids "can" learn virtually even though it's not ideal.

I have a senior who was wavering between the two. She enjoys class in her pjs, napping through some classes, making food whenever she want, "going" to class but not actually paying attention. She has much better grades this year than any year before even with all of this. Plus by the time they go back, if they ever do, senioritis will have kicked in.

She ultimately chose hybrid just to go back into the building and see other people but she knows it will be a waste and they won't learn much.

Better for the kids that chose Hybrid.

That's higher than a lot of places.
