GW. I think it was around 5k with no insurance. Monitoring just a bit less frequency than medicated cycle... they are not concerned about catching ovulation, just to be in sync with lining. Successful. ( Had pgs tested embryo ).

I also did a natural FET at SGF. They did not offer it, but they were fine with it when I brought it up. I only had to go in for monitoring on CD3 and CD10 because I was ready to ovulate by then. You'd go in more times if you were ovulating later in your cycle. After insurance, we paid $600 for the FET. For meds, we had a trigger shot and progesterone suppositories.

My understanding is that you have a longer window for implantation in a natural cycle, so I wanted to do it for that reason (and to get out of PIO).

Pp here - I’m not sure, but it certainly could have been. The main advantage for me and the reason I did it was not to avoid 1 or 2 blood draws but rather to avoid weeks of daily PIO shots.

dx. MFI (azoospermia due to primary testicular failure). I did a successful natural FET with SGF Sept 2018. It was barely any monitoring for me. I went in on cd 2, then again on cd 10. I chose an optional trigger, and I triggered the night of cd 10, started optional progesterone suppositories the next day. Transfer 7 days after trigger. It was my first FET and I was surprised at how easy it was in comparison to my 2016 fresh cycle.

Natural FET didn't work for me as I had a little bit of a larger uterus and so the second FET Dr. Schoolcraft suggested Medicated FET and it worked. I hope this helps.

For those who did a natural cycling FET at SGF, can you tell me about how much monitoring was required and the timing? We're planning to do this if we have embryos from this cycle.

I got pregnant from a natural cycle FET at SGF. I did do the trigger shot though. But thank goodness no IM progesterone!! Lots of monitoring required.

I did a natural FET at SGF after having a strong reaction to estrogen pills. Natural is less expensive and doesn’t require the injectable progesterone because your body is producing some naturally. Less meds more monitoring. SGF will do it but probably not suggest it because it more time and labor for them. Outcomes are generally comparable.

I was scheduled to do a natural FET at shady grove but then my body decided it didn’t want to ovulate (or, rather, did after we canceled and I started progesterone to bring on a period, creating an awesome cyst!). Same cost as regular FET minus meds. Though they did have me purchase a trigger shot.
