Well, there is also very high teacher turnover, and while there are indeed some very good teachers (as there are at every school), many of the teachers are not.
But to answer your question: it matters because it shows how stressful and awful it is to work at BIM. The HOS resigned before his 2-year contract ended because of the toll it was taking on his and his family's mental health. This is not limited to administration.

I work at Basis ( 3 years) and have not seen this high teacher turnover you mention nor do I feel it's a toxic work environment. The opposite, teachers are very well taken care of by the operations team and admin team.
The current HOS resignation is due to covid not the school environment.
Having a child at the school I can also say that kids do love the school (at least the ones that can handle the academic workload) and are not really affected by the HOS situation which has been unfortunate but not as terrible as some make it seem in this forum. Just another perspective to consider.
