Anything missing at the church preschool you can easily supplement at home, but likely not needed.

Haven't done Montessori but I absolutely love my church preschool program. It's been wonderful for my DD.

Pre-school teacher here. Totally depends on the school. My kids went to a gem of a church pre-school.

We’re looking at a Montessori (which costs $20k per year) vs. a church preschool (which costs $5k a year). They both have excellent reviews, and the church preschool isn’t too “church-y”. IYO, is the additional $15k worth it for Montessori?
