The way they differentiate for math and English, I thought was good. They have one 6th grader in algebra this year.

The Hardy principal is very engaged and dynamic. Their math coordinator is fantastic. DL is going ok but next year, everyone should be back in the building. That will make a difference.

Actually a 6th grader is in Geometry this year. But Hardy does do differentiation well.

Thank you for the correction. You are correct.

To 12:10 about sick math teacher at Hardy. Contact the principal, Talon time teacher, or Math Department head to address the concern about sick teacher. This not an issue in my kids class, so am not aware of this issue. One sub at beginning of year for one kids (not math class) was set to go and then go a permanent position offer and took that instead .

They actually said this year they didn’t take the 10 for 6th and 7th. I believe they took only 5 in 6th and 7th. He also said if they didn’t get more space, next year they will probably not take any out of bounds.

I see, thank you for replying. Good to know they are testing to use common sense. We are IB and plan to enroll in Hardy in a year after DD’s 5th grade. The principal once gave a short presentation at DD’s elementary and he seemed refreshingly involved and passionate about the school.

Lucas is great! We were really pleased with our daughter’s experience there. She’s now a freshman at Wilson and still close with friends from Hardy.

Yes, I have to say I like his style. Well from the short period I had to chat and see the presentation. We are heading to Hardy next year for 6th

I remember a parent asking how come Deal doesn’t have to wear uniforms and Hardy does? She said “I mean I want my child to have the whole middle school experience with jeans, etc. “ Like WTH!
