+100% I birthed them. I'm raising them to be independent and productive (hopefully that works). But, when I'm among loved ones or talking to my spouse, I will refer toe them as my babies till my last breath.

My mom calls me “baby” and I’m 35. If it makes her happy, I’m fine with it. She’s a wonderful woman I would do anything for.

Never!! hahaha. But one time I called my 3yo "baby" at the playground and another slightly older child started calling him "baby" to be mean, so I learned my lesson - don't call him baby outside of the house.

DS went through a stage of being all "I'm not a baby!" and so I tried to 1) cut it out and 2) explain that it is a term of endearment like sweetie. I just wasn't able to entirely quit the habit of calling him baby, but I think now at 4yo, he actually gets that it's just a term, and he doesn't get mad at it anymore.

Whoa.

DD is about to turn two and she's currently playing with the concept of baby/big girl right now. She'll say she's mommy's baby, but granny's big girl!

I'll call her my baby until I die, probably.

Baby morphed into monkey which turned to goober which became...you get it. The terms of endearment never go away.

I stopped telling people I had a baby around 2.

DC just turned two and we still refer to her as a baby (and calling other big kids at the playground "baby" lol). I'm curious when other people stopped referring to their little one as a baby.
