I cannot forgive him at all, and I am very liberal and voted for him. I think Virginia can do, and deserves, much better.

Here is a clip that some other YouTuber felt compelled to record and upload on part of the topic.

You’re blaming a helicopter crash on the Governor?

it never should have gotten that bad. Educate yourself and then we can have a civil discussion.

We were living in MoCo, but are temporarily renting in DC but are about to buy in Alexandria. And I'm currently temporarily staying in Toronto (where I'm from).

The Primary isn’t until June 8 and the registration deadline is 22 days before any primary or general election. I’m sure you’ll be able to vote by mail.

I guess he didn't get the job he wanted in the Biden administration.

I think it’s the opposite, that he wasn’t going to take anything in the Biden administration because he wanted to do this. It’s been obvious for at least a year.

I won't be voting for him in the primary, but if he wins I'll vote for him in the general.

If you're referring to me, the one who was asking about primary voting, it's because I lived in VA for part of the time he was governor and thought he was fantastic. Also, as a committed Dem, I would say I fall, ideologically, into the same neck of the woods as he is - but i'm happy he seems to be moving to the left.

In a previous job, I interacted with him and really liked (continue to like) him personally.

It's also essential to me that the Dems win the governorship in VA and hold the house* and I think both are highly likely with McAuliffe as nominee.

*both b/c we're pretty much guaranteed to be moving to Alexandria and also b/c I think it's important for the Democratic Party.

Good. Now let’s see if the two Jennifers cancel each other out. As long as it’s not JCF, I’m happy.

Really happy about this. I think if he gets in he'll win the nom and no way he loses the governors election - especially because the Rs are pretty much guaranteed to nominate a lunatic now they're going the convention route.
