It’s a reasonable request. We cancelled Christmas travel to comply.

So, anyone else?

We got a similar email - and believe me your 3-4 yr old will totally tattle on you. We are pulling our kids early so we can quarantine before and after a weekend with grandparents.

Yes ours has had this in place since before thanksgiving. Isn’t it protocol per cdc travel restrictions?

Yes. I sent a similar email to families at my daycare.

Because people are selfish asshats and will not do this, we have kept my 4yo out of daycare since mid-Novenber, and won't return until late January.

I wish ours would do this! Both for families and staff.

Totally reasonable. And required by law in some places. I'm shocked that you have a problem with that.

How is that an issue?

Of course this is reasonable. This is the trade off and deal with being able to have school in person.

Our school has the same requirement. Kids cannot return to school after travel without a negative COVID test and appropriate amount of quarantine.

I would hope most schools/daycares/preschools and work places are doing this n

Has anyone else received an email from their daycare/preschool asking parents to limit travel and indoor gatherings or to quarantine after they return from Christmas break? We just received an email asking us not to travel, spend the night in another person’s house or attend large gatherings. They further state that if they hear about these unsafe practices, children will be asked to quarantine and/or provide a negative COVID test.
