Trifold is easiest. But you can also rig a free standing backdrop out of some pvc piping and hang a piece of fabric on it

Do you have an iphone? I use that for zoom so that I can use backgrounds, like a nice photo of my living room. My macbook won't support the virtual backgrounds unfortunately.

Position your table or chair two feet away from a wall and have the wall be your background. You can even have art there if you want to be fancy.

You may need to move your furniture around, but it's worth it.

We've bought two inexpensive temporary, fold up desks so that we can have good backdrops for zoom.

If it doesn’t need to be forever you could thumbtack a sheet to the ceiling. Just a few tacks should do it. If you want to be able to put it away and then put it back up you could get a piece of wire or non-stretchy string, cut a half dozen little holes in the top of the sheet (like the holes in the top of a curtain where the rod goes through) and then find two anchor points for the two ends of the wire - existing curtain rod, nail in the mounding, light fixture, etc.

Do you have a closet door that you can put a table and chair in front of? An entryway that you could hang a sheet from, attached to the framing?

We have a very small space, and the prime furniture arrangement doesn't lend itself to a visually appealing Zoom background when sitting at the table. Unfortunately my computer doesn't support virtual backgrounds. It's hard to explain, but there isn't a big-enough section of wall where I can hang a piece of fabric in the background. All I can think of is to buy a folding room-divider screen and put that behind the chair. What's a good place to buy that, ideally in person? Or any other suggestions?
