Not under the current circumstances, no. We went to Air & Space out by Dulles over the summer when numbers were much lower...and that is a huge open space that wasn't crowded.

I am thinking nature center, go karts, busy bees or any museum or art gallery that is open. I have a big range of ages.

We went to the Udvar-Hazy during the summer. It’s a huge space, there’s no touching, and they limited visitors enough that it was extremely easy to distance. But I wouldn’t do more cramped museums or an indoor play space. So we’re wrapping up in layers this winter and going outside.

I’ve taken my kids to the trampoline park and everyone there was masked even while playing. Just a few preschoolers weren’t and they were pretty young so I wouldn’t necessarily expect it anyway.

Yes, I would go to a museum or aquarium. I would not go to a play area and touch things.

No. We have rarely been indoors anywhere (except our house) for more than 10 minutes at a time since March (we get grocery curbside pickup, etc). With cases so high now, I'm actually personally challenging myself not to go inside anywhere for the month of December, if I can help it.

Low capacity, good ventilation and masks help a lot! But you're still exposed to some folks' breath hanging in the air for a bit... and to me, the bigger issue with the places you mentioned is that both kids and tourists are less likely to wear their masks perfectly (taking off, not covering noses, etc.)

No. Even before covid I avoided indoor play areas snd the children’s museum during the winter due to the flu.
