Is this OP? You don't need special bowls for serving baby oatmeal, since you're going to be holding it. Whatever normal one/2 cup bowls or mugs (or ramekins) you have will be fine. Babies don't really eat cereal that long. You will be like, why did we spend money on these bowls....?

I actually hated the EZPZ. My kids could flip them (they don’t stick to wooden tables) and whenever I tasted anything from them, the food had a horrible taste...don’t knock my cooking, it was the same thing I was eating from a regular plate. I’m convinced it was the rubber.

I ended up getting IKEA plates, bowls and utensils for something like $6 a packet and my kids eat off of those with much more success.

Corelle plates and bowls, and regular stainless demitasse spoons and cocktail forks. My 6 year old still uses them since they fit in her hand better. One cheap set has lasted us 6 years and counting...

We have re-play bowls/plates/cups (made out of recycled milk cartons) and also some bamboo ones. I wanted to avoid plastic, but didn't want to give my daughter regular dishes immediately. She's 23 months and we already give her regular dishes sometimes now and she's never had an issue -she throws the food sometimes, but she's never thrown a regular dish.

We got a set of this silverware, and also some espresso-size smaller spoons for when she was really little. We give her a mix of this and regular silverware now - the forks aren't as sharp so sometimes it's easier for her to use a regular fork. We used fiestaware salad and saucer plates for our children. They are now 2 and 6 and they now use the regular plate size. We were gifted five or six ezpz bowls/plates. I used those only for eating at restaurants or as bowls to hold finger paint or sensory activities.

I didn’t think the ezpz were worth the price imo but they do wash well and I liked the carrying case that it came with. It made using it at restaurants really easy to take home and wash

We had the Avanchy set when my DS was about 7 months old. Even with hand washing the silicone ring around the plates came off and developed black mold after about 4 months. I do like their spoons so we used those and still do. The forks or sporks I would pass on; my baby chewed the tines down and a few broke off. I went back to Amazon and the reviews said the same thing. I had just missed the warnings when looking.

We wound up getting the plates, bowls, and utensils from Skip hop. They are sturdy plastic and metal. We’ve had them now for about two years and they’ve held up really well.

Just put their food directly on the tray. If you are doing baby led weaning style, you can just put their finger foods directly on the tray starting at 6 months. When they are ready for dishes, you can just use your normal dishes. If you are really scared of breaking plates, you can get metal camping dishes (or plastic). You can also use normal silverware, especially the little dessert forks and the teaspoons.

My first baby was very civilized and was eating off of actual adult (breakable) dishes as a toddler. My second baby is... not as civilized. He is 18 mo and still eats directly off his tray, though he does use a fork and spoon sometimes. FWIW, he never got used to the baby spoons - he just uses a normal teaspoon.

Ezpz didn't work at all, in fact, my kid was more inclined to flip it than a normal plate or bowl. The other suction bottom bowls didn't work on the high chair tray either. For when baby was really little, I just mixed food in a glass bowl and fed it to them. When bigger, they just ate directly off the tray until around 12 months. At that point, she ate off non-suctioned plates and bowls just fine.

For utensils, make sure you get the long thin infant spoons first. The spoons in the basic utensil sets are too wide for them.
