OP when did you have Sex? You can go get an IUD which can prevent pregnancy up to 5 days after intercourse when used as emergency contraception or you can take plan B or Ella.

It prevents ovulation which is necessary otherwise sperm which can live for 5 days can fertilize the egg. However, it also can prevent implantation.

I would say "are you me" but I'm 40, not 35, and my kids are younger than yours (yes, I'm an old mom). Just really wavering on that third kid!

The chances you're pregnant are low! Hopefully you are able to have peace with whatever the outcome is.

I was scared like this every time we tried to conceive our third. I really wanted another baby but was also scared of taking the chance. Once we had him we were so, so grateful we did. Don't worry, OP, it will be alright!

Sounds like a low probability that you're actually pregnant but you never know. Morning after pill wouldn't change anything, you're right. Give yourself some grace and don't panic - are you open to talking to your doctor about options if you are in fact pregnant? PPA is nothing to scoff at and if your mental health would be in jeopardy with another child please take that into account.

2nd pregnancy was unplanned, so I had anxiety when I found out I was pregnant for a few weeks and then for ~6 months post partum. Had a terrible panic for the first 2 months after baby and was onl Zoloft for about a year

DH and I decided to go for #3. Had sex on ovulation day only. The next morning I woke up with terrible anxiety. I feel like I really don’t want another baby and have no idea what I was thinking. There are many days that seem impossible with an almost 3 and almost 5 yo already!
I think seeing multiple close friends have their third was romanticizing it for me.
Anyways, what are the chances of getting pregnant (I have been tracking my regular cycles for years and a quite sure this was ovulation day).

I do not think the morning after pill works if you have already ovulated, so I guess I am just playing the odds with this one.

I had terrible PPA with both prior pregnancies, so this could be anxiety, but it’s such a scary feeling. I will go back on BC if it turns out I am not pregnant to explore this sudden change of heart.
