Music Together with Maddy O'Neill changed the course of my parenting. She is truly a gifted educator.

My friend in nj had in person over the summer, but of course not here.
And my kid does a different online music class, which is really good. Not as good as in person, but good. And much cheaper.

Which one?

I did it with all of my kids. We usually went to Ms. Catherine in Moco. Occasionally we made up classes with other teachers, and they were not as good. Catherine is amazing.

Same here. It makes me sad that our time with MT ended so abruptly, as I spent about 6 years taking each of my kids to the classes. When they moved to virtual last spring I found myself getting stressed out about trying to get set up for the class and how to get my son to pay attention. A few friends were in the class and and we joked that it was basically the moms taking the class. I felt really bad for the teacher. She was trying hard but it just doesn't work for most young kids. I wanted to cry half the time because it was such a stark reminder of how much we and our young kids were/are missing out on by not being around others. It is truly how young children learn. Not being able to go to music class is not the biggest problem in the world but for some reason it just makes me emotional to think about it.

My sister's children both did Music Together with her - in NY - many years ago... they are now 17 and 19 years old. They loved it, she loved it, and I visited and loved it as the aunt years ago - and the CDs were awesome!

Loved Music Together too! I have done it for 10 yrs through 3 children. My last needed early because of the pandemic. I didn't like the virtual set up for it.

I could take or leave the class but we really loved the CDs. They are still good even though DD has aged out of the class.

Has anyone taken a Rhythm Kids class? Very curious about it.

My DD really loved it. We had Miss Amy, and it was great. Almost 10 years later I can still remember a lot of the songs (!).

I hated it—over $20 a class to sitton carpet squares on a cold asbestos tile floor in a church hall? No thanks.

I absolutely love Music Together in general, and specifically Mr. Mike's Music. I've been doing it with my two year old since he was an infant and can't recommend it enough. It's also translated really excellently to a virtual format.
