I’d check out Cheesetique. They might have local products. Worth calling. Also there is a gift shop in Shirlington that sells state themed tea towels...I forget the name...also online here (different shop) : https://www.uncommongoods.com/product/state-dish-towel

Barrel Oak Winery has a great port (and it's called Chocolate Lab, which is cute):

RVA has a couple of places making great moonshine. Belle Isle Moonshine. Not sure how shipping works.

Usually stores like Fresh Market have good local selections.

How does moonshine taste? Idk that I have ever had it.

Another vote for Virginia Diner peanuts. Gearharts Chocolates, too.

Virginia Diner peanuts are good and packaged nicely for gifts. It’s an actual restaurant/shop in Wakefield (I don’t know if they’re actually made there or not, but they’re at least tasty!). The restaurant is good if you’re ever driving through there.

I'd like to send food gifts with products from Virginia. Google turns up quite a few, but it's hard to tell the quality and some of them look pretty commercial/mass-produced.

If anyone has experience with a Virginia gift basket like this that they'd recommend, please post it!
