Same thing happened to me. He is fine now but could have died. Don’t wait - you want a baby to take home.

You’re fine to wait. My water broke at 39 w 3 d with all three pregnancies. Two labor didn’t start- one of those I had the baby 60 hours after my water broke.

Don’t take a bath don’t have sex don’t put anything inside of you- I mean duh- and the “infection” thing is a non issue. Good luck OP! It’s baby day!!!!

This was me too - water broke, induction for vaginal birth. Plus I asked for epidermal right away, never felt the contractions when they did come.

This happened to me both pregnancies. Water spontaneously broke at 36 weeks. Got induced with pitocin both times. You need to get to the hospital. Infection can happen after your water breaks.

My sister recently went through this. For her the induction didn't work and after nearly two days of waiting and lots of pitocin she only dilated to 4cm. She had a C section.

Go! An induction is much easier on you than a c-section - which you might have to have if you wait.

Yes, this happened to me a few months ago before my son was born. My OB told me to wait 12 hours before going in, which I did, and contractions still hadn’t started so they gave me pitocin. Baby was born 12 hours after that, vaginal delivery, no complications. Good luck, you got this!!
