I’m not opposed to localized response. What I object to is that local govts on up keep inventing new language to the mix. Worse you have entities like FCPS stating metrics that they don’t even follow. It creates more confusion.

How is this any different than the rest of the pandemic? If anything the localized responses are more logical and reflective of locality needs, which makes more sense.

Phases (preferably each with associated metrics) provide a more uniform way of communicating than the mish mosh we have now. Politicians of every stripe look like fools making up everything on the fly.
