Yep. No way will they open for most students this year.
I could see them having some in person learning for kids who can't be served effectively online. I'm thinking some special education students and those in the various Autism programs.

There is a report today they have approved reopening in feb 2021. Out PG private reopens after Christmas with a very modified day/schedule.
That's the exact opposite of what happened. PGCPS won't reopen in February. They say they're not ruling out returning later in the semester, but I have little faith that the teachers' union would allow that... https://wjla.com/news/local/prince-georges-students-wont-return-to-classrooms-february

Which private is this?
St. Philip in camp springs Md. they have had pre-K in school since the fall. They are piloting a small group next week and will reopen for up to 10 kids per class 2 weeks after the Christmas break for a 5.5 hour day. They have been very thoughtful about it and really relaxed my nervousness. We opted in for January and will decide based on covid numbers closer to the date. This model doesn’t work for many, but for my husband and I it does. I can plan all my meetings and one way decisions when she is in school and lighter work when she is home.
