My kindergartener’s school will follow the governor’s order. She will be in school unless we go to phase 1. LOL away.

Don't regret private in the least. My kids have been able to go in person for 2 1/2 months and the school has not switched to virtual yet. Even if they do, the education will be excellent.

Not sure what you're looking for OP. Sorry you can't afford it.

My kids have been in person since August. I am totally fine (and actually hope) if schools close down now. I know they are committed to reopening when it is safer to do so. And the last months have been awesome in terms of education, getting to know their teachers, seeing other kids, etc. Very happy with what is happening.

Education does not need to occur in a school building. You sound very narrow-minded, OP. I send my kid to private school to teach him what he wasn't learning in public school- hard work, learning to be prepared the first time, etc. His straight As in public school were not an accurate representation of what he was producing there. Now he knows how hard he really needs to work in order to get the same grades. I'. happy to pay for that. I'd rather have him learn this in MS and HS than in college.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out this was going to happen. Scientists and public health people have been predicting this surge since the very beginning.
