Ha good point - the e after Anne is optional. I saw a previous PP recommended Annmarie -- I like that very much as well.
Having the space, dash or capitalized "M" seems too complicated for a first name for me, especially in this region where it is less common so I'm glad to see not everyone is insisting that "Annmarie" or "Annemarie" are painful to look at.
