I’m not sure condos will ever appreciate that well, but the ones I’ve seen in SS seem well
priced for what you get (decent schools, transit) so I’m considering them. Even without huge appreciation you may sti
get some tax break and fixed housing costs against inflation compared to renting.

I'm going to go with Dulles Corridor near the metro stops.

PG County in the under appreciated areas close in (not College Park or Hyattsville).

I agree that Alexandria is still relatively cheap compared to Arlington. It will appreciate with or without better schools just because of its proximity to DC.

Alexandria city area east of 395 between duke and seminary.
