Yeah, I like this answer. This is how I handle a lot of questions from my 3 yr old. It’s a good way to find out why she’s asking, too. Often it’s coming from something unexpected, some connection their brains are making that I can’t see with my boring adult brain. If the questions are coming from a place of anxiety, this is a good way to find out (like if someone teased him about his appearance, that will come out if you ask questions). But it might just be natural curiosity, and asking him questions is good for that too, teaching him to explore an idea and use imagination and creativity.
