Me too. I live in Colorado and just cracked 42k miles in 2 years on my ascent. Love it

MDX. They are really discounting the 2020 models.

Can I get the Explorer decentlly equipped for $45K? (heated leather seats are a must.) I thought they were like $60k.

You cannot get anything well equipped except used for your budget. You can probably get a lower model with leather heated seats but it will not be what you sound like you want. Most SUV's, especially larger sized are at least $50+

OP here. This isn't true. I have email quotes in hand for Highlander Limited, Acura MDX, and Pilot Touring all for under $45k. I am not including sales tax in this number.

This. Building the Ford Explorer, getting leather (not heated) and AWD puts you above 50. The Subaru can be configured for a tick under 40 with everything OP wants

Yet another SUV post. Plan to keep it for about 8 years. Currently drive an 8 year old Pilot. Its fine but new Pilots are too wide for my garage door opening.

We only need the third row occasionally and for short rides. Did not like the Palisade/Telluride when we looked at them.

What is your pick?

TIA.
