actually this election was great for the GOP, 4 more years of an unhinged Trump would have been unpalatable even for them I think and the damage would have been difficult to pin it on somebody else. but now they will have the Dems and Biden to pin all the s$it on and if they keep the senate they can prevent the democratic agenda from being enacted, or even a compromise if the years under Obama are any indication of what we can expect.
the base will come out strong because they believe they are the last bastion that can prevent the US from becoming a socialist failed state like Venezuela, run over by Muslim refugees where white Christians are persecuted and disarmed.
