Sorry, according to the “real ‘murica is white people within 50 miles of a Cracker Barrel” rule, most of NOVA is indeed the coastal elite. And most of what is NOVA isn’t in the Beltway.

There are Cracker Barrels in Manassas and Sterling, so NoVA is real ‘Murica.

Credulity is what reigns at DCUM! Most politicians are:
1) rich
2) fake

Hawley is distinct for working on new idioms, nothing more.

Such a phony and fake. These Republican clowns from “the heartland” all do this. They can’t get away fast enough....

The students at Stanford and Yale probably weren't as nice as people in Kansas City. I think it's great he beat Claire McCaskill.

At 40, he's the youngest Senator. That's ridiculous so many Senators are old.

Tim Kaine, 2016 U.S. Democratic vice-presidential nominee, U.S. Senator and former Governor of Virginia and Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, is also a graduate of Rockhurst High School. Maybe Democrats and Republicans can get along. Maybe Hawley has friends in Virginia.

My cousin went to/graduated from Rockhurst. It is not a difficult to get in. My cousin is as dumb as a box of rocks.

Having dealt with Sen Hawley, he is not nice. But I have no issues with him buying a home in NoVa.

ALOT of senators have two homes or more. Look at Pelosi.

I have no issue with following up on this and the legality of it. But it’s super sketchy after the big tech hearing. It’s called-Shadowbanning!

Politically trash the person so whatever they say gets forgotten and yeah big tech gets richer.

He makes $174k as a Senator. It's unclear if his wife works.

And yeah, $1.3 million isn't that much for NOVA, but the mortgage still has to be paid. I suppose if he and his wife didn't have any school loans and made good money in private practice for a few years, but he was a court clerk for a few years, where he didn't clear $100k, then a law firm associate, law professor in Missouri, and then Missouri AG, which also pays about $100k. None of that is adding up to a $1.3 million house.

Also, that's not what shadowbanning is. But nice try.

His wife works at Kirkland. https://www.kirkland.com/lawyers/h/hawley-erin

Maybe it’s family money. I doubt he’d be as a lawyer to take political money and put it into a house. He deserves his punishment for that. There’s many ways it’s possible.

It does look bad to live in DC while trashing it. But it’s hard to commute. That’s why a lot of them have multiple homes.

Shadowbanning is more than just doxxing on a social platform like Facebook. Yawn that’s what people know. Shadowgovernment is real and they have access to to many platforms, not just mainstream ones. Personal data, think what Snowden exposed. They are people who will using psychological operations to spark movements online, expose things in your past. But anyway. It’s sketchy timing.

He was a lawyer until a few years ago and the wife is a lawyer. Plus I think his parents have money. That’s where the money comes from

Despite his derision of coastal elites, he has as his primary residence a $1.3 million house in Northern Virginia. He claims he is building a house back in Missouri.

So, two things - 1) where is the money coming from?, and 2) how does this not violate the residency requirement to be a Senator?
