Whitaker. There is no good nickname for Fletcher. Will your son have a more common middle name?

They're both awful. Whit is less likely to get beaten up than Fletcher, but between Whitaker and Fletcher it's pretty even.

They both sound like last names, is yours a simple one? If so, I like Whitaker because it’s more unusual, at least to me.

My mother was a Fletcher so I would use that one.

We are having a hard time choosing a name for our second son and like both pretty equally. Which name do you prefer?
