Prep Dad or homer... hate to break it to you but I bet you more than half of the 2023 Prep kids you are referring to who play for DC Dogs should be in the class of 2022. I won't name a particular name but one of them could even graduate this Spring but he would be on the young side so I see why he repeated once, but twice... come on man
If you are new to lacrosse in this area..... let me bring you in on a little secret.... Georgetown Prep tends to always have a very strong JV program, they always tend to have some very talented kids in the early years of HS... by the time these kids are in their senior years, some of them won't be any better than they were when they were full grown in 9th grade.... Don't get me wrong, I suspect 2 - 3 of them will live up to the hype but the vast majority superior physical advantage will start to gradually fade when these kids are juniors.
Prep has a very strong 2023 class right now but don't act like GP is now some elite program re-living the glory days under HOF Giblin.
Win an IAC Title, something GP hasn't done since 2014 (the last year Giblin was there).
No one cares about how old these kids are.
The 2023 Prep kids are more talented than the 2022s at any one school. The 2022 class in the DC area is solid, but the 2023s are better lacrosse players, and they are bigger, stronger and faster. Sadly, the 2022s are one of the weaker, and less skilled classes in the last ten years. Particularly the SJC 2022s. Overrated. The DC lacrosse community is always strong, but the 2023s are better.

Hope NHSLS goes forward. It looks a little smaller this year and pretty MIAA heavy. Cadets playing LB and Spalding. I don't know who the Grey Ghosts are. ALXLC? Is that SSSAS? Episcopal was the Maroons in the Summer NHSLS. Blue and Grey may be Prep. I like DeMatha just saying who they are. Calvert Hall and Boys Latin were not that strong in Summer NHSLS, so that is probably the most interesting group as McDonough can't use their 20s again like they did this Summer. Prep with its 20s got smoked by SJC's 22s last year, so I don't think the 17 year old DC Dog sophomores will make any difference in a pretty tough group.

Regarding the Prep v St. John’s game, the seniors at SJ were more impactful than the 2022s.
The Prep 2023s are significantly better than any 2022 class in the IAC and WCAC.
Wow. Delusional. They lost a big time facilitator to Georgetown, no doubt. But no drop off in starting goalie and how many seniors started for SJC in that game? Have DC Dogs play the Next Level Cadets team right now (which isn't even all the starters). Kids are the same age anyway.
