$1,000, tops. Plus it gets delivered exactly when and where you want it.

Shipping a car is always a PITA. I’ve always used a courier.

That's less than I paid when I moved to Arizona 2 years ago. BTW, welcome to AZ!

PP with gas comment. It wasn't clear to me whether it would be via car carrier or just get driven, hence the gas question.
But it goes on a carrier (so gas covered) and you can send things in the car, I'd say it's totally worth it. Assuming of course that the car isn't a total piece of junk.

Yes. We just did this. Where are you moving? We also packed 2 suitcases in the trunk and they did it care at all.

I packed a few things in my cars when I had them shipped and it was fine. Nothing of value but I had some towels and blankets etc in there. That price sounds fair. And no they don’t charge for gas. It goes on one of those trucks that has multiple cars on it.

We just paid $900 to ship a car to Texas plus surcharges brought it to $1100

$1200 is what we were just quoted.
I really do not feel like driving all the way to Arizona with 2 young children.
