Dr. Sacks is amazing. He knows his staff isn’t great, so if you email directly, he’ll respond quickly and deal with more of the logistics than you’d expect. I had a fantastic experience with him after doing 6 cycles with a different RE. From the first 6 cycles, I didn’t even get a single positive pregnancy test let alone a baby; I did get abnormal bleeding and pain from one of my ovaries being over-stimulated. Post-Dr. Sacks I have 3 kids, so I’m a bit biased.

I like him as well, but I am torn whether to go there. The staff isn't organized at all. Is it worth taking the risk and going there when the staff is terrible?

Definitely email Dr. Sacks directly. He responds very quickly and dealt with everything from appointments to billing when I couldn't get straight answers from his staff.

I just transferred embryos from another out of state clinic to CFA and I found the process to be incredibly easy. Were you put in touch with the embryology department? I found them to be super responsive!

I really like Dr. Sacks, but am having trouble navigating as I try to transfer my embryos (from the people I donated to years ago) from Palo Alto out here. The staff is not easy to communicate with, as has been mentioned on this board. I am worried, based on what I read, that I will miss important information or dates I need to tend to of my cycle. Does anyone have a recommendation for how to deal with this? especially now?
