That many years of futsal and not on a year round team or Alexandria program leads me to suspect he participated in the Arlington futsal program? That program is fine for fun, but they don't really train for futsal. I agree with the earlier poster that NPC is a good option if they have spots open. They have good coaching. If your son is not looking for being coached, you might consider forming your own team and getting into the Alexandria league, although that league will be outdoors this year.

Stoddert has outside futsal. You will have to make your own team.

My son plays for NPC. Practices are at the Fairfax Sportscenter. We really like it because they focus on developing players more than winning, but if it is important to your son to be on a team that wins all or most of the time, may not be a fit for you.

The kid is U16. I'm sure he has had 'development' if he has been playing Futsal a long time. By High School you are moving into challenge being utmost importance.

Ok, so then she can take a pass on it. Not sure why you want to argue, but it's one sided on your part, so hope you enjoyed.

He is a top player and excels at Futsal, very, very good ball skill/agility and movement. He has been playing Futsal since age 8. We were given contact cards last winter by many teams--after games but unfortunately didn't hang onto them.

What are some teams in the area that are still forming Futsal teams? I realize some are doing this on outside courts this year which is fine.

I'd check with DC Hyper.
