What if I told you that what we are going through right now with the pandemic, riots, foreign interference in elections, the incumbent president refusing to transfer power, and radicalization of both sides of the political spectrum is not the worst thing our country has been through? Not even close.
I really think you should spend 90 minutes listening to it with your kids if you have the time. It's a good reminder that there is a strength and flexibility in the structure of our democracy that allows the country as a whole to stabilize even after periods of tremendous upheaval.
