Outdoors? Totally fine. I haven't been doing anything indoors since March, and nobody should right now.

The help isn't the problem, the affluent families who are socializing are.

The help is what brings the covid into the home. I have heard of nannies giving the family covid.

Our housekeeper got covid but thankfully it was during a time when we put a hold on her services.

This.

But, if you’re goal is to avoid post holiday covid spikes, I’d wait till at least January 20 to resume and see how things are. I think the first two weeks of January we are going to have some of the highest case numbers of the pandemic.

Same, PP. We've come this far not by faith alone, but the difficult works with it that bring our hopes to pass. Why would I stop what has been helping now? After all of the sacrifices we have made, we are almost there. Hang in there OP and yes it is a wise call to return to hypervigilance where you may have recently relaxed the reigns.

Yes. I'd go to bars and we'd eat indoors sometimes. The numbers in MD went up big-time in the last week, so we'll be stopping that until positivity rates go below 3% again, and cases go down to 10 per 100k.

We are still doing outdoor socializing with masks for kids and SD for adults, as long as it's not too cold.

We just started getting comfortable meeting friends outside. My kids went trick or treating and went to our friend’s house for a Halloween party. It almost felt back to normal. Soccer just ended and tennis ends next week for the kids. I’m thinking we will stop meeting people altogether until the new year.
